I do design, illustrations, and production for print media and web sites. Most of my current work is done on a computer and communication with clients is done over the internet. I use QuarkExpress, Photoshop, illustrator, Freehand, Word and BBEdit.

I helped with the transition from traditional methods of using paper, pens and other hand tools to the use of desktop computers for doing graphic design and production. As the company grew from about 100 stores to over 600 stores with 5 different identities, I initiated the use of a layers extension for QuarkXpress to simplify the creation of many separate pieces at once.
I designed Newspaper ads, catalogs, brochures and other printed advertising and promotional materials. I also scanned, retouched and processed hundreds of photographs.

I did pen and ink product illustrations and designs for retail advertising. There were newspaper ads, booklets and catalogs.

As a group leader in charge of production for the Sears printing account, I made the change from using paper and pens to using Macintosh computers. I developed methods for teaching computer use to others and did product illustrations for clients such as Hi/LO Auto Supply.
